Coccolare Lux & Co. is a proudly South African luxury home and body care brand, made in the heart of Cape Town.

Rooted in the art of everyday indulgence, Coccolare,  Italian for “to pamper” was created to transform simple moments into sensory rituals. Each product is thoughtfully formulated to soothe the skin, awaken the senses, and bring a quiet sense of luxury into daily life.

Our collections are cruelty-free, eco-conscious, and beautifully refined, designed for both the modern home and elevated hospitality spaces.

Where It Began

The brand was born from a moment of reinvention.

Founder Shaima Noor began her entrepreneurial journey in the events industry, building a successful business in Cape Town. When the world slowed during COVID-19, she found herself returning to something simple, creating candles and body care products by hand.

What started as a personal ritual soon became something more.

While living in Mozambique, this passion evolved into a growing business. But it was during her travels that the vision became clear, a desire to create a luxury African brand that could stand confidently alongside the world’s finest, while still feeling warm, personal, and deeply intentional.

A Thoughtful Partnership

To bring this vision to life, Shaima partnered with long-time friend and packaging specialist Lieza Timms.

With a shared appreciation for detail, quality, and design, the two combined their expertise to create a brand that feels both elevated and considered, where every element, from formulation to packaging, is designed with purpose.
